How does ZRT Labs test Vitamin D levels?

You simply perform the blood collection at home and send it in the pre-paid return package to the ZRT laboratory where it is tested by a professional lab technician.

Once ZRT Labs receives your dried blood spot sample, you will be able to obtain your results in about a week. As you continue to monitor your Vitamin D levels, ZRT will generate a "history" test report comparing your latest test results to previous results. If Vitamin D supplementation is necessary, this history report will track the effectiveness of your treatment and help your health care provider recommend the right supplement dose.

    Vitamin D3

Posted by Karen B. on Oct 2nd 2016

First, the at home Vit D3 test is convienent & less costly than going to the doctor. After reading the results, I discovered the Rx was for Vit D2, not D3! Therefore my Vit D3 levels are still low and my Vit D2 is too high. Without this test, I would not have discovered this. I will immediately make changes. Thanks so much!
